Okay, in order to get the right effect, you have to imagine this next phrase is being said in a shrill, high-pitched, half-crazed tone of voice which slowly fades to silence. You got that? Here we go...
*inhales*
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
*inhales*
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
*inhales*
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I feel better. No... no... not better. I have a feeling typing it is not NEARLY as satisfying as actually screaming out loud and venting almost a half a month of frustration and stress and rage. But, once again, I'm at school. I don't want them to drag me away in the paddy wagon. Not when exams are done and I'm going out for Sushi and planning cookie baking and doing Christmassy stuffs. I'll try for the paddy wagon thing in January. There... problem solved.

I know, I know... I haven't posted anything significant in a long while. But when do I ever post anything of significance. (Oh, shut up, Carla and Lynnsey. And Tannis. You all suck.)

Where to begin...

Well, first off, I still haven't done a good account of Minneapolis. And that was a long time ago. Stress stress stress. Well, I came home from school and all was goodish. I was freaked that Carla and Lynnsey would be waiting for me and I'd hold every one up. Not the case. CARLA was late and I had to wait for her. Hee hee. When she finally came and we left my house, we decided to stop off for food quickly. Got Subway, decided not to eat in the restaurant (huh... can we even call a Subway that?? Sounds wrong). Got to the car, decided Carla shouldn't eat and drive. Sat in the car OUTSIDE the Subway and ate our subs. It struck me as strange. Meh.

And then WE WERE OFF!! Like a turd of hurddles, as Carla would say. Well, it was so true for us.
Carla and Lynnsey: Uh, where are we going?? How do we get to such & such highway? Where's the map.
Me: Don't look at me. I'm the classic direction ditz!!
Carla and Lynnsey: Wait, how do we get out of Winnipeg??
Me: Oy VEY!! (Carla laughed. She's jewish, so she can laugh at me.)
Carla and Lynnsey: Okay... We're out of Winnipeg?? Now... how do we get to the border??
Me (thinking): uh... go south. Eh... what do I know.

We went south.
Then at the border, we go through the U.S. customs and then, bright us, decide to ask how much we can bring back (in U.S. dollars. Customs is picky). The customs guy's all like 'I dunno. You got to ask at the Canadian side. Just drive around there and ask, but report back to us when you do.' They had to check us again while going across the border.
So, we go to the Canadian side. Askes the usual questions.
Customs man: So, how long were you in the States for?
Us (well, Carla, since she was the driver): About 5 seconds.
Customs man: *blink blink*
Us: We just went through U.S. customs, but had to come back here to ask how much we're allowed to bring back.
C.M.: Oh, okay. *dubiously* makes sense. (Actually, I lie about the dubious part. He was very very subtle about the fact that he must have thought we were nuts. Or he was just naturally, really nice. Yay Canadian customs!!!) For a 48 hour stay your allowed to bring back... *insert price here. Don't remember*
Us: Oh, okay. Uh... one more thing.... *sheepish* Do you know how to get to *insert highway name here* from here??
C.M (still really nice): Not really sure. Let me get my map.
Us: Okay. (wait, wait, wait. Not very long though)
C.M: Okay... here's the map.
And we all looked at the map. And then we were off again. And through U.S. customs again. And then we were on our way. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

And we only stopped for directions once more along the way!! *g* The U.S. people were so nice to us stupid tourists. Tehy wanted us to spend our money.
Then we drove and drove (well, Carla did) and listened to music. A large variety of music. Much of it Lynnsey's. There was good, bouncy, mellow, kinda depressing, lovey dovey (gag me) and some just plain WEIRD!! Well, what did I expect from Lynsey??

The roads were a teensy bit slippy going into Minneapolis. And we missed our turn off. But by some small miracle (okay, by Carla's awesome greatness!!) we found our hotel and got checked in. Much to our disappointment... no swimming pool. Well, my buds were disappointed. I was glad I didn't have to wear a bathing suit. We goofed around for a bit and then went to sleep for tomorrow.... (drum roll)... we would be going to the MALL OF AMERICA!!!!!! YAY!!

And I have to end this post now because I'm going out for Sushi!! YAY ME!!!! And I'm spent.
