Today's Topic: Most recent movie seen
I remember when I was rather young, and I heard that the Phantom of the Opera was coming to Winnipeg. I knew very little about the musical, but I'd heard some of the music and I loved it. My mother was going and I begged to go with her. I even said I'd buy my own ticket. Funny thing is, at the time, I could afford to. My mother refused to let me go, saying I was too young to appreciate it. I was really mad at her for a long time.
Imagine how thrilled I was to discover that I could see the Phantom of the Opera in theaters! From the first time we'd seen the preview, Jen and I had decided that we had to go see it.
The first word that comes to mind to describe that movie: Orgasmic. Seriously. Gerard Butler, who plays the Phantom, is sooooooooooo sexy. Forget the fact that I'd already decided years before that I liked the mysterious man in black... this guy was very hot. And mmmmmmmmmmmmm... with the clothes and the mask... *drool*. And plus, this guy's voice is amazing. I swear, I've never sighed so many times during a movie. I shall steal Gerard Butler and put him in my closet. And then he shall sing for me. YAY!
On another note... Christine is an IDIOT!! Why the hell would she... how could she... RAOUL??? THE HELL!! That man is so... unremarkable. Rich presumptious snobbish... GAH!! GAH!! I just... that woman is so STUPID! RAOUL??? GAH!! It just makes me soooooo angry and... GAH!! Inarticulate. And shallow... so bloody shallow. I wish nothing but bad things upon Christine. Kinda can't be as angry at Raoul, because he really didn't do anything wrong. I just DON'T LIKE HIM!! He's so boring and bland. I mean... gah.
At any rate. I need to see this movie again. I need to buy it when it comes out. I need to steal Gerard Butler RIGHT NOW!!
On that note... if someone wants to go see Phantom, I won't object to joining them. :D

Currently watching: Dog the Bounty Hunter is on in the background. I'm too lazy to change the channel.
Currently listening to: Gerard Butler singing from my closet. Sometimes, the singing is interrupted by his pleaing to be set free. I just smile and ignore those parts.

Burning in effigy: Christine. HATE HER!!

Which Family Guy character are you?

Boo-yeah!! The only thing better would be Stewie. Gotta love that kid. Maybe Lynnsey should adopt him. :D
At any rate... New Years eve. What's going on? My place will most likely be free... except perhaps for my mom. We should get together there... that way we can still do Chrissy's idea of a fondu/sushi whatever without having to share a house with drunk 18/19-year-olds. Maybe we could do something silly like rent an X-box again (oooh... or I could just steal my brother's!) and play a silly game.
People can sleep over, if they don't mind providing their own sleeping bags and pillows and crashing in the living room. That way, people can drink if they choose to do so. It'll be BYOB, of course. I'm not loaded, so stop leeching off of me, people. Naturally, the guest list consists of Graymalkin, Elarielf, Tannis, Baby C, Melanie and Jen. I should also look into what making sushi will require. I have some of the tools for making it. Let me know what you think of this. Later, all.

Today's topic: Well, at least there's no hard decisions to make
The absolute WORST thing about the Gaara/Rock Lee fight in the Chunnin prelims was the fact that I really, really liked them both. I didn't want one to lose. For a few insane moments, I was sure they'd say "Well, since you to both rocketh mightly, ye shall both proceedeth to the next round... eth." Sigh... if only.
But then the thing.. with the thing... and Oh, the horror, and ... Bad Gaara, no donut. But then he looks sooooooooooo cute and huggley and I end up giving him a whole box of donuts just to make him happy although he probably won't care and will just kill me and stomp on my donuts.
You know... this is one of the reasons that I could never have children... I can't be the disciplinarian. Especially if said children had tragic and lonely pasts and if the parents were absolute bastards... HEY! I'M gonna be one of the parents. Hypothetically. Well.. I AM a bastard.
Now it's the Gaara/Saskue fight. No confusion here. I don't like Saskue. REALLY don't like Saskue. He's a cocky, pissy, monosyllablic arrogant jerk. I can't respect that. Yet, I can respect a child having a horrible past and becoming a compeletly insane and totally homocidal sociopath. Even sociopaths need love.
At any rate, I say "Rah rah rah!! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GAARA!" So cute.
But since I'm on his side.. he's probably gonna die. But awwww. SOOOOOOOO cute with his teddy bear. Bastard children, running away from him. I wanted to hug him.
On that note... I'm spent.
Oh... and Merry Christmas.

Today's topic: It's here! It's here! Lynnsey's present is here!!
After weeks of waiting, I've finally received Lynnsey's present. I've been so excited to give it to her 'cause I know she'll LOVE it. Or step on it. Whicever is good.
But I just got it today, Vancouver finally saw fit to send it over. It is just SOOOOO cute. She's gonna love me more than usual. Thing is, though, I think she's already at her cabin. Boo-urns. I want to give it to her now. NOW, I TELL YOU!!
Well, enough of that. I'ma gonna go do stuff.

- America the book. Great book. Read it. READ IT NOW!!
Current question: What the hell kind of sadist decided on how to spell "Massachusetts"? Bastard. BASTARD!! And I'm spent.

Today's topic: Well, at least I know it's not in mail-limbo
I did the unthinkable on dec 5th and ordered something off E-bay. Now, I usually don't buy stuff online, but I'm getting the hang of this internet thing. I found something that would be perfect for Lynnsey for Christmas. According to E-bay, shipping time should be about 7 to 14 days. The seller was optemistic and thought the gift would arrive in 7 days.
So, after 7 days, I started waiting. I didn't freak when it didn't come in right away, I figured things would be a bit slow. A few days passed and I still thought "Eh, there's plenty of time. We're not getting together until the 22nd. I've still got almost a week to get it and wrap it."
Then, over the past few days, I started getting a bit anxious. The only thing I could tell from the mail tracking system was that the package left Hong Kong on the 7th. That's a lot of help. I started to wonder if someone had come by, no one was home, they left a note and it blew away in the wind. Then I started to wonder if my present was somewhere at the bottom of the ocean.
As the days went by, I started to get more and more jumpy. A car door would slam and I'd head over to the window to see if someone with a package was walking up our driveway. I'd start to get real excited when the doorbell rang. Yesterday, my family was all like "Well, most packages are delivered on wednesdays. You'll probably get it tomorrow." Today, I was so happy when the doorbell rang... until I saw it was my sister's boyfriend. Now, don't get me wrong, I like Chad. He's a nice guy. But he didn't come bearing Lynnsey's gift. Le pout.
I finally got off my ass and phoned Customs. Maybe they decided that my gift looked suspicious and didn't want to let it into the country. I asked about it, and a very nice lady said "No, there shouldn't be a problem." Then I asked if there were major delays at customs. "No, things are usually in customs for about 4 to 5 days." No problem, I thought. That was reasonable.
Then I phoned Canada Post. Another very nice lady answered the phone. I explained my situation and asked her if she could possibly track the package. It was in Customs in Vancouver. It had been since the 11th. It still wasn't cleared for delivery. Odd... I didn't think there'd be THAT much of a delay. Oh well, Lynnsey's present will be a bit late. Nothing I can do about that. Sorry, Rin. It'll be worth the wait. I swear.
And on that note, bye all.

So... been a while since my last post.
There's two reasons for this. One: Comp blew up. I'm sure you already knew that. Two: I'm no longer doing homework at school therefore have no reason to procrastinate therefore have no reason to post. 'Nuff said.
So, I finished my Christmas shopping last weekend so I wouldn't have to deal with insanity at the malls. My aunty phoned me a couple of days ago asking if I could take my cousin shopping sometime in the near futur. I went today. The mall wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It wasn't too hard to find a parking spot and we didn't get trampled. Yay us!!
My aunty also had her birthday today. YAY! She's old. But I lurve her anyways. It was nice going to her place, but there were TONS of people I didn't know there. None of my other family was there, just me and my mom. Still was fun.
Came home today and started clearing out the living room a bit (decoration boxes were everywhere... but we've finally got our tree up and decorated. SQUEE!!) Cat decided to play with everything in sight. The lil' bastard even ripped open a package of bird seed that we got for my aunt to go along with her bird feeder. Why the hell would a cat go after birdseed? I swear to god, he's more like a white rat than a cat.
Tonight's big escapade was a fight over a skeleton. I lie not. Mom and I found a little plastic skeleton left over from Halloween in the living room. I wanted to put it on the tree. Mom didn't want to let me. I finally cornered her in the kitchen by the sink. She had a good grip on that damned skeleton... it took me a few minutes to get it away from her. I was even tickling her and she didn't let go. I finally got it. He is now sitting in our tree. I WIN!! YAY TEAM ME!!
And that is all. Have a nice night, all.

Today's topic: A truce!!
Sorta. I have a funny feeling that my cat's trying to kill me. The fact that he tries tripping me with his fuzzy little body while I'm walking and that he tries to maul my hands and feet is one clue. The fact that he sneaks into my room at night and sleeps right on my nose, trying to smother me, is another. I also caught him putting Cyanide into my drink list night. Enough is enough.
So I proposed a truce. If he tried to stop killing me, I'd try to stop killing him. "Cat," I proposed, "let us end this sensless war. I know we don't like sharing the house with each other, but we must learn for the greater good of mankind and catkind." Luckily for me, he's too stupid to ask how us not killing each other would benefit either mankind or catkind.
So I poured myself a glass of milk and poured him a little bowl of milk. I made a toast and we drank to the tentitive peace that we had established.
At long last, the war is over. Now, when we try to kill each other, it's all fun and games!! :D
Uh... kitty, get away from me with that knife!!

Today's topic: My computer blew up. :(
Well, not so much blew up... that's what it did a couple of years ago on New Years Eve. This time, it just won't start up. There was a problem where I had to restart my computer (I can't remember if I used Ctrl + Alt + Delete or if I force-shutdowned). Now it just won't start at all. It turns on and goes to safemode and won't let me log in at all. WAH!! Someone come and fix my computer!! *sniff*

Second thing, my second part of the Harry Potter story is done. I don't know when the third part will be done... if I can even get it back. I will be V. sad if it gets lost.

Third thing: Christmas shopping is almost done. *gets jiggy with it* I just have to get something for my dad (impossible to buy for) and something else for Jen. Then I'm done. :D

Fourth thing: Is everyone free tomorrow (Tuesday)? Perhaps we could go and see Blade Three.

Fifth thing: What is everyone doing for New Year's Eve? Let's get together. :D

Sixth thing: Made cookies today. They are yummy. You can't have any.

Seventh thing: Happy Chanuka (however the hell you spell it) to Carla. 'Cause, you know, she's Jewish. And we love her. Not enough to get her Chanuka presents... but still, there is a bit of love.

Well, was that all I wanted to post? I think so, for now. Later all!!

Oh, yeah. And I also had a major french test today that everyone in the faculty of education at CUSB has to take and now, thanks to a policy that was implemented last year, everyone has to get a 2 or a 1 in order to continue on into education. It's like the Chuunin exam for CUSB teachers... except with less bleeding and more French grammar. I think I'd prefer to bleed. :( But whatever, this isn't as important as NARUTO!

Today's topic:
STELLLLLAAAAA!! Whoops, I mean... CAAAAARRRRRRRRLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAA!!!
I need Naruto! GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIIIIIMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! NOW!
I've just finished episode 50, while I should have been doing homework or cleaning up. Yeah, Naruto's moving along much more quickly than Kenshin did. It hasn't taken me over a year to get this far in Naruto.
So, the Rock Lee/Gaara match is over. I have just one word to sum it up. WAH!!
Okay, so maybe I'll use a few more words. Near the end, I was all like "Oh, yay. There's only four people left. Lee, Gaara, Sound dude and that other guy from Ino's team. So, the two important people (Lee and Gaara) can fight the two non-important people and everyone I love will advance to the next match!! Yippee!"
"But, Theresa! Wait!" Calls an obscure voice in my head. "What about Sakura??"
Like I said... everyone I love. I don't love Sakura.
But then with Lee and Gaara... and then the thingie... and little Lee is SOOOOO cute, and I kinda don't hate Gai as much as I did before but... really like Gaara, the cute, homocidal tyke... and then... GAH!! Why Lee and Gaara?? CRUEL, CRUEL UNIVERSE!! YOU DID THIS TO SPITE ME!! *shakes fist at the universe*
And now I have no more episodes of Naruto until Carla lends me hersandIcan'tdownload anymoreanyways'causeit'lltakesolongandthere'snomoreroomonmycomputerbutIreallyreallyREALLYwanttoseewhathappensnext...
Kakashi: Uh... calm down there. Breathe.
Theresa: *takes deep breaths and breaks out the tequila* I'll be fine. Now, go back to my closet, Lynnsey's waiting for you there.
Kakashi: Later.
Theresa: And try to keep it down in there, guys. I have to sleep in this room, you know.
Lynnsey: No. *sticks her tounge out, and looks SOOOOO cute when doing it*
Theresa: Awwwww... sooooooo cute. Don't you think she looks cute, Kakashi?
Kakashi: No way! I'm not getting in the middle of this. I'm going back into the hottub.

Quick post before I go to bed...
I just got Naruto episodes 26-50. Just watched 44. Then I had a thought...

Am I the only one that sees paralelles between Naruto and Harry Potter?? I mean, they both have no parents, have markings on their face that everyone but they seem to know the significance of. They're not the greatest students, but they pull through when they have to. They both have a kindly old person who really believes in them (Dumbledore & Hokage), they both at some point have mentors who push them (Lupin and Kakashi). The only difference is, Harry's not all like... "Yay, look at me, I rock! I'm gonna be the Minister for Magic some day!" Harry's more like.. "Huh. I just so happen to rock. This is cool. Let's be stupid and not brag about it so that we can all call people who hate me irrational. Oh, yes, and let's get really pissy when I turn 15."

Hm... I wonder if Lord Voldemort's a biter? Or does he just have an oral fixation? And why does it sound vaguely pornagraphic when people say 'oral fixation'?

Oh, yeah. And speaking of... this is for George's (Dead Like Me) mom.

MOIST! MOISTMOISTMOISTMOISTMOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIST!!!!
